18-19 of November my great green friend Robinah Nanyunja, who was one of the very first I asked to join me in the G100 Security and Defence wing, organised the first Women Economic Forum in Uganda and invited the founder Harbeen Arora as well as several of Country and Region chairs in our wing. Even some speakers who decided to join G100 after the meeting.
As it was in the middle of the pandemic it was all online of course but who cares nowadays. It’s the way it is and online events have become the future. The topic was resilience for women businesses and leadership in economic recovery from the pandemic and the way forward.
